Mallika

Mallika mango is a cross between dussehri and neelam varieties of mangoes. The color of the mango is orangish yellow when ripe. The flesh is fiberless orange fruit. The fruit is sweet with melony/citrusy overtones. Mallika has good resistance to disease and it grows well in different climates. It is being recommended for growth in the US, however, the fruit grown outside India does not develop the same level of sweetness or flavor as the fruit grown in India.

The peak season for Mallika is between mid-May and mid-June in India.
