Himayat mango is also called Imam Pasand among other names. The region between the states of Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh in India has a rich mango heritage. Himayat is a premium mango from this region.

• This mango has everything that one could want for in a mango- size sweetness aroma and color. It is said that it is impossible to hide a Himayat mango- a single Himayat in the house can make the whole house bathe in fragrance. Himayat is a large fiberless mango and is said to be one of the favorites of the Nawabs of the region.
• It is extremely sensitive and when properly ripened can become one of the most cherished fruits a person can consume in a mango season.
